I am Elvin Aycock and I am president of Atlanta Engineering Services, Inc. I hold licenses and certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE), a Professional Hydrologist (PH), Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and an ACTAR Certification (Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction).
I have qualified and passed the required exam for certification as a Registered Environmental Manager (REM), REM Certification is the highest professional/ management level of National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP).
I am also certified is a Certified Design Professional (Level II) which is issued to qualifying individuals by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1971. From that point on, I have taken courses at Northwestern University Traffic Institute, Texas A&M, University of North Florida (IPTM) and the National Highway Institute to further his education.
I am also a member of the following professional organizations: National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE, Investigative Engineers Association (I-Eng-A), Southeast Accident Reconstruction Society, Inc., National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists, National Registry of Environmental Professionals, American Institute of Hydrology (AIH).
In 1990, I started Atlanta Engineering Services to provide civil engineering and land surveying services. Since then, the firm's expertise has expanded to provide forensic services to attorneys and to the insurance industry.
Atlanta Engineering Services now offers professional services in civil engineering, land surveying, traffic accident reconstruction, hydrology and property damage / personal injury.
I have written two books and several papers to offer to individuals interested in furthering their knowledge and understanding of surveying and traffic accident reconstruction.
